Beginners Course
For students new to yoga this beginners course will introduce you to:
- Yoga postures, including technical alignment and their benefits
- Breathing techniques
- Relaxation
- Meditation
- Explanation of different types of yoga
- Basic yoga philosophy & its principles
The course is suitable for all ages, body types, and levels of fitness & flexibility
What to expect
All classes have a Hatha Vinyasa influence (linking breath with movement) that integrates alignment, strength and fluidity.
Classes incorporate hatha yoga postures (asana)which are varied and adjusted to meet the needs of each student, with breathing techniques (pranayama), Relaxation (savasana) & Meditation.
Classes create an opportunity for you to develop and refine your own intuition and sensitivity, to find depth in your practise on a physical, mental and emotional level.
Yoga is suitable for everyone regardless of age, body type, level of fitness & flexibility.

Your teacher
Sarah is a fully qualified Hatha yoga teacher with a diploma of Teaching Hatha Yoga and a certificate in Yoga Philosophy. She is a registered member of the Australian Yoga Teachers Association.
Sarah's yoga journey began in 2000; her qualifications were attained at Dharma Yoga in Melbourne Australia. Sarah is a full time yoga teacher & her dedication to yoga and her students is reflected in continued learning through maintaining her own practice with various teachers & styles of yoga & body movement both local and international. Sarah also recently completed a Masters of Yoga course through Australian Yoga Academy.
Her clientele is diverse and wide ranging making yoga accessible to everyone in the community.
